A set of eight midcentury Danish dining chairs in teak, designed by Johannes Andersen for Brdr. Andersen, model BA113, dating to the 1960s. The frames are finely proportioned, with gently tapered legs and shaped back supports that rise into a curved, upholstered backrest, creating a continuous line through the arms and backs.
The seats and backs have been newly upholstered in black vinyl, offering a clean contrast to the warm tone and grain of the teak. The sculpted armrests and softly rounded edges reflect Andersen’s focus on comfort and fluid form, while the consistent joinery and finish point to quality Danish cabinetmaking. A cohesive set suited to both dining and occasional use, combining practical seating with well-resolved midcentury design.
