A contemporary pendant light designed by Tom Dixon in 2003, produced in the UK. The spherical form is created using polycarbonate and finished with a high-shine mirrored surface through vacuum metallisation. The surface reflects its surroundings; when illuminated, it casts a focused downward glow. Suspended from a chrome ceiling rose, the design draws on both industrial manufacturing techniques and space-age aesthetics, aligning with Dixon’s postmodern approach to lighting and materials.
