A mid century extending dining table designed by McIntosh and produced in the 1960s. Constructed in teak with a softly rounded rectangular top and distinctive leg joints, the table features a concealed double butterfly-leaf mechanism that extends it in stages. One or both leaves can be deployed depending on seating requirements. Fully extended, the table comfortably accommodates up to ten people. The leaves fold neatly away inside the frame when not in use, preserving the clean lines of the original form.
